About me

Hello, my name is Caleb. I am currently a PhD researcher at Brandeis University, specializing in nonequilibrium statistical mechanics and mathematical physics. I anticipate graduating summer/fall 2019.

My research style is to draw on the synergy of physical intuition, numerical simulations, and rigorous mathematics to elucidate the mathematical structures underlying emergent phenomena.

This is a photo of me being futuristic.

Science communication is important to me, as are open-source and open-access initiatives. I view access to high quality knowledge as paramount for empowering individuals across the globe. In this spirit, I have recently become involved in editing Wikipedia. (See my user profile and contributions here.)
